Denis Victor Korzan, 61, of South Russell, formerly of Lorain, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, S.C., of cancer.
He graduated from Lorain High School and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland.
Korzan, an electrical engineer, was employed by IBM as a systems analyst from 1968 to 1990. In 1993 he became President of Probe International Inc. in Peninsula, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Chagrin Falls, where he served as an usher and eucharistic minister. He was in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1962 to 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Maria (nee Montagna); sons Denis A. Korzan of Cincinnati and Daniel Korzan of Chagrin Falls; daughter, Dawn Brown of Lyndhurst; his mother, Irene Korzan (nee Preger) of Lorain; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Korzan; and brother, Dale Korzan.
